The philosophy of the Chandler-Gilbert Arc is
based on the belief that all persons should have the opportunity
to develop to their fullest potential. It is our role
to facilitate, with the family and clients, a smooth transition
of activities designed to enhance the independence of each
individual. We further believe that the process should
be done with the utmost of consideration to the dignity of
the individual and with respect to the concerns of all interested
parties.
FUNDING
The Chandler-Gilbert Arc receives funds from the following
sources:
BACKGROUND
CGArc is a recognized 501-C3 and has a volunteer
Board of Directors and an Executive Director, Ron Travis.
Chandler-Gilbert Arc was incorporated in 1975.
VOLUNTEERS
The Chandler-Gilbert Arc recognizes the need for volunteers
as a valuable component to the quality of services we deliver.
We see volunteerism as seriously as those who volunteer.
Therefore, we have a full training program for volunteers
as well as a comprehensive policy regarding them.
We have found that volunteers who feel they know what is expected
of them and how their role fits into the overall agency mission
find volunteering to be a very rewarding experience.
